Despite the EL Nino, the relevant popular organizations in the current marketing year 2014/15 appreciate a higher inventory build-up in the world wheat. The stock exchange prices in Chicago and Paris currently apart by approx. 35 Euro / t, and it is expected that the Paris courses rather adapt toward Chicago as vice versa. When you consider that in most years the new direction of grain prices provided in July and August, one suspects nothing good in the moment from the perspective of farmers.

The speculators acknowledged this in the last week of the report, with a further reduction of the net long positions to 22.104 contracts on now 115.176 net long positions. In contrast, the courses in Chicago come to Paris thus more under pressure. This the difference between the rates of the Atlantic currently stands at just under 60 euros / t and it is therefore expected that maize is pushing worldwide increase in the feed rations.
