Depressed price sentiment on the fertilizer markets - phosphate, potash and AHL decline The autumn price trend for 2019 shows that fertilizers have little tendency to orientate upward. Rather the opposite. The DAP courses have still not formed a reliable bottom after a strong slide to the month of July / August. The recent trend is still down. The Kornkali prices, which have risen from July, have been unable to hold their position of € 265 / t selling price and have fallen back below the line of € 264 / t. The basic fertilizer prices suffer the most under the new conditions of the fertilizer VO. The N fertilizer rates have established at a generally lower price level since the end of the fertilization period in the spring. However, the development is not uniform. KAS and AHL show recent weaknesses. At wholesale level , the prices for KAS from July to today still have a firm course, the selling price to the consumer level, however, could still be something on it. But even this tendency has come to an end . Urea has made a leap upwards since July but can barely maintain its level. Developments in the fertilizer market are initially determined by the seasonal decline in demand in autumn. This year, the new fertilizer VO additionally aggravates consumer restraint. The early-withdrawal business is also on a subdued course. A not so abundant fertilizer supply has a hard time to prevail against the reduced demand .
