CBOT Announces Thanksgiving Day Holiday Trading Schedule
(08.11.06) - The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) has established the following trading schedule in connection with the Thanksgiving Day holiday:
Wednesday, Nov. 22
* Open auction: Agricultural and Financial contracts will close at 12:00 p.m. Mini-Sized Agricultural and Metals contracts will close at 12:30 p.m. Stock Index contracts will close at 3:15 p.m.
* Electronic trading: Overnight electronic trading will be closed.
Thursday, Nov. 23
* All daytime trading will be closed. Overnight electronic trading will be closed for Metals contracts. Overnight electronic trading reopens at normal evening times for all other applicable contracts.
Friday, Nov. 24:
* Open auction: Metals contracts remain closed. Agricultural and Financial contracts will close at 12:00 p.m. Mini-Sized Agricultural contracts will close at 12:30 p.m. Stock Index contracts will close at 12:15 p.m.
* Electronic trading: Dow-AIG Commodity Index and Metals contracts will remain closed. Agricultural contracts will close at 12:00 p.m. Stock Index contracts will close at 12:30 p.m. Financial contracts will close at 1:00 p.m.

CME Announces Thanksgiving Day Holiday Hours
(14.11.06) - CME has announced the following trading schedule in conjunction with the Thanksgiving Day holiday (all times are Central time):
Wednesday, November 22
* Commodity futures, foreign exchange (FX), interest rate and housing options traded on Exchange trading floors close at noon (commodity options close at 12:02 p.m.). Equity index, GSCI® and weather options traded on the trading floor close at their regularly scheduled times.
* Commodities traded on CME Globex® will close at noon. Equity indexes, TRAKRS, ETFs, CPI, Eurozone HICP, GSCI, weather, ethanol, housing, NYMEX energy, interest rates and FX products traded on CME Globex will close at their regularly scheduled times.
* CME Globex regular open for trade date Friday, November 24 excluding commodities, weather, GSCI, ethanol, TRAKRS and ETFs.
Thursday, November 23
* Exchange trading floors are closed in observance of Thanksgiving Day.
* Equity indexes traded on CME Globex close at 10:30 a.m. FX, interest rates, CPI and housing traded on CME Globex close at noon. NYMEX energy closes at 12:15 p.m. Commodities are closed.
* CME Globex regular open for trade date Friday, November 24 excluding weather, cash-settled butter, ethanol, Class III milk.
Friday, November 24
* Weather options and dairy traded on the Exchange trading floors are closed. Commodity futures, FX, interest rates, GSCI and housing options close at noon, commodity options close at 12:02 p.m. and equity indexes close at 12:15 p.m. on the Exchange trading floors.
* Eurozone HICP on CME Globex closes at 10:00 a.m.
* Commodities and TRAKRS on CME Globex close at noon. FX, interest rates, equity indexes, ETFs, CPI, housing and NYMEX energy on CME Globex close at 12:15 p.m.

CBOE And CFE Thanksgiving Holiday Trading Schedule
(16.11.06) - The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and the CBOE Futures Exchange (CFE) today announced the following trading schedule in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday (All noted times are Chicago time):
Wednesday, November 22:CBOE interest rate products will close at 12:00 Noon CST.Regular trading hours will be in effect for all other CBOE and CFE products.
Thursday, November 23:CBOE and CFE will be closed.
Friday, November 24:CBOE interest rate products will close at 12:00 Noon CST. Stock option trading will close at 12:00 p.m. CST. CBOE and CFE broad-based indexes and other products that normally close at 3:15 p.m. will close at 12:15 p.m. CST.
