Wheat speculators in Chicago continued to press wheat prices in Chicago during the final week of the report. Net short positions increased by 14,108 contracts compared to the previous week to 122,774 net short positions.
In corn, on the other hand, net short positions are declining in recent weeks, but prices in Chicago remain under pressure. With a week-low of 13,703 contracts, the final week of the report ended at 196,763 net short positions.
