There was no major change in the net positions in the wheat specula- tions in Chicago during the reporting week on July 18, The net long positions decreased by 8,759 contracts to 35,926 net long positions. The wheat courses on both sides of the Atlantic, however, were strongly under pressure.
Also in the corn speculator in Chicago, it was relatively quiet in the report week to the 18.07.2017. With 3,706 contracts, net long positions rose moderately to 104,670 contracts. However, the prices were still around 10 euros per tonne.
