The rise in net short positions at Chicago wheat appears to have been halted in the last week's report on 19/09/2017. Net short positions decreased by 4,177 contracts to 79,568 net short positions last week. The wheat courses were able to recover well on both sides of the Atlantic.
In contrast to the wheat, the net short positions for maize in the last week of the report as of September 19, An increase of 15,194 contracts resulted in 134,606 net short positions at the end of the reporting period. The Maiskursen therefore remained under pressure on both sides of the Atlantic.
