Rainfall reduced German harvest expectations 2015
The continuing absence of rainfall in many parts of Europe draws on the substance of the previous high harvest estimates on the basis of the favourable development of the spring. Water scarcity in the crucial phase of yield formation leads to reductions and a weak grain training. Signs of Notreife become increasingly apparent.
For Germany has the German Raifeissenverband (DRV) revised its monthly crop estimates significantly down. The total harvest to fall by 52 million tonnes to 47.7 million tonnes down. A reduction in yield is assumed surface modified with negligible by 10%.
