This result is nearly 9 percent below the previous year and significantly missed the long-term average of around 25 million tonnes. In winter barley the DRV assumes a harvest volume in the amount of 8.8 million tonnes . This is a decrease compared to the very good last year by more than 9 percent. For the rye , the Association expects only still t 3 million. The summer barley crop is estimated with good 1.8 million tonnes below last year's level (- 8.8%). The corn harvest forecast the DRV only amount to 4 million tonnes to 4.5 million tonnes in the previous month. The qualities according to the currently present in the sum are described as satisfactory. However, one is to determine significant differences, especially if the hectolitre weight. This a North-South divide emerging. Also throughout Europe be corrected income expectations significantly down. In particular, the French grain harvest at historic lows is seen.
