Ethanol production increased contrary to expectations

According to the latest report from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), ethanol production has risen to 1.084 million barrels per week. At the same time, inventories have also grown to 26.218 million barrels (+526,000 barrels). In contrast, refinery receipts fell by 4,000 to 850,000 bpd. Exports also lost momentum and amounted to 138,000 bushels per day, which corresponds to a decline of 12,000 bushels per day.
