Canada lifts wheat harvest hopes above market forecast

Canada lifted its estimate for wheat and canola harvests to levels above market expectations, after weather worries eased across the Prairies.

Statistics Canada pegged domestic production of wheat, including durum, at 26.1m tonnes, up 1.5m tonnes from an August 21 estimate.
