Evening markets: US heat, data worries spur soybean bounce

Soybeans are very much back in vogue.

Chicago's best-traded November contract, which started the week wallowing amongst its lowest levels in six weeks, ended it nearly $0.40 above that nadir at $9.63 ¼ a bushel.
