(AMI) The European slaughter pig markets present mostly balanced in the current week. The offer is doing almost consistently above the level of last year, can be but usually positioned. Price, most market experts go out by smaller fluctuations.
A stable for the time being, possibly even slightly firmer price trend is expected here in Belgium. Despite a slight increase in the past week the offer goes further back and demand the slaughter business is brisk. The battle figures here since now 10 weeks steadily over the previous year, the number of slaughter was in this period by about 8% above the level by 2013.
In France and Spain, the range of weaned pigs is also relatively extensive, decreases compared to the anti-Government but tend to be slightly. At the same time, the demand of battle company is brisk. In France, casts its shadow on 1 November already the holiday and makes for a slightly richer delivery. Priced French market participants expect a stable development for the time being. Unchanged or at best minimal weaker prices is expected in Spain. The warm weather in southern Europe provides high slaughter weight and thus a fairly wide range. At the same time, third country exports is described as very satisfactory. In particular, South Korea orders large amounts.
