There is no trading on the EEX today. Interest in the June contract still doesn't seem to be that great. A price of 43.80 euros/dt was last determined. So far there has been no turnover for the new trading month of April 2025, nor for the November contract. The Belgian quotations for processing potatoes remained unchanged at 40 euros/dt today. Factories across Europe continue to look for potatoes. Occasionally, however, the producers continue to be cautious with their offers in speculation on higher prices. The late planting of potatoes - including the later varieties - in Belgium is described as historically late by the advisory association PCA. In Flanders in particular, there was significantly more precipitation than usual in March and April. May also started with a lot of precipitation.
