Milk prices are still in the seasonally weak price phase due to the current increase in milk supply volumes. Prices for skimmed milk powder on the EEX-Leibzig are moving only slightly, while butter prices are showing slight improvements. Rising prices will be traded on the remaining dates in the course of the year. The standardized conversion of exchange prices into milk value therefore leads to higher milk prices from the late summer/autumn months onwards. This is the situation at the turn of the month Apr./May 2024.
