The cows, which supply milk for the well-known Italian cheeses Parmesan and Grana Padano, are to be kept under animal welfare conditions. This is denounced by the animal welfare organizations Compassion in World Farming (CIWF) and the Albert Schweitzer Foundation for our fellow citizens.
