China's grain imports will reach 2015/16 a volume of 2.0 million tonnes in the marketing year, the forecast of an official Chinese Research Institute. That would be an increase of about one-third of the previous marketing year. The wheat production by 2015 is estimated at 127 million tonnes (+ 0.9% to the previous year).
