Profit-taking after the gains of the previous day and a weak export demand for U.S. wheat were weaker close the wheat prices yesterday in Chicago. The weekly US export sales of the old harvest were 148.200 tons of wheat under market expectations down. The electronic exchange of the night are easily fixed to the hour.
On the Euronext in Paris, the Weizenfutures followed the negative trend from overseas and prices eased slightly. The expiring date of may 2015 lost but vigorously. The European Union granted export licenses for 273,000 tonnes of wheat and import licenses for 35,000 tons of wheat this week. In the current marketing year amounted to exports for wheat on a total 27,962 million metric tons (comparison value last year: 25,241 million tonnes) and the imports of wheat on a total of 2,341 million tonnes (baseline year: 1,393 million tons).
