The Euronext rapeseed had to cope with another stronger price correction yesterday. August recorded the highest daily loss with 34.50 euros/tonne to 691.25 euros/tonne. With rapeseed prices plummeting and vegetable oil guidance weak, Winnipeg canola contracts also went into the red. The soybean complex on the CBoT has continued its descent, falling across the board. Most notably, concerns about sowing have continued to recede as work progresses briskly and has reached 94%. The USDA reports that around 68% of stocks are in good to very good condition, and only 6% are in critical condition. Additional bearish impetus also came from the oil market, which also corrected further yesterday.
