The Russian Government informed the public about the decision to repeal the export duty on wheat supplies from now on today, Friday.
Russia is one of the largest exporters of wheat. As a result of rising domestic prices and the devaluation of the ruble the Russian Government introduced originally 1 February to 30 June 2015 export duties for the period.
A document is still in the discussion, after exporters from July 1 to pay a duty of $1.00 per tonne, the price of wheat should exceed a level of 12,000 rubles ($240.00) per tonne.
