Russia has reported an African swine fever (ASF) outbreak at a site of the country's largest pork producer, Miratorg, in the Belgorod region of central Russia, the agricultural security watchdog said in a statement on Monday.
ASF is partly distributed by wild boars and is harmless to humans, but it is highly contagious in pigs.
Privately owned Miratorg was not available for immediate comment.
