The Black Sea export business is still very mixed. While the volume of trade in the Ukraine suffered significantly from the Russian attack, export business with Russian agricultural goods was able to increase again. The ruble has also strengthened again. Prices at Russian ports followed suit and continued to rise over the past week. Wheat is currently trading at $371 a ton. According to initial forecasts by Argus, exports in April could add up to 3.15 tons and are thus well above the level of the previous year and above the five-year average. At the same time, the export tariff is to be increased again to 110.7 US dollars for the coming week.
