US corn sales beat expectations

While corn on the Euronext/Matif started the weekend inconsistently, prices for the grain on the CBoT were rising. US export sales were also better than expected. According to the USDA, 670,000 tons were sold instead of the expected 600,000 tons. A total of 1.14 million tons were shipped in the reporting week.
