Soy export shipments for the week ended last Thursday totaled 1.2 million tons, according to the USDA's latest data. This means that the value of the previous week could not be reached (1.4 million tons). Overall, exports reached a volume of 37.6 million tons and are thus well below the previous year's level. China remains the main customer. In addition, the USDA yesterday confirmed an export deal for 507,000 tons with an unknown destination.
