Corn contracts on Euronext/Matif also went north on the last trading day of the week. The new front month of November rose by EUR 5 to EUR 328.25 and is getting closer and closer to the comparable December contract for wheat. Worries about the weather were once again the dominant factor on both exchanges on Friday. France, for example, currently rates 68 percent of its corn stocks as good or very good, which is seven percent less than a week ago. At the CBoT, too, the weather forecasts determine the course direction. Even if the daily profit was not as big as last time, daily profits were also shown here on Friday. Pre-market, however, the new week starts with a red sign.
