Today the prices of the CBoT wheat futures will probably suffer a week's loss for the second time in a row. The corona crisis is depressing the mood after the virus has spread rapidly outside of China.
In Asia, stock market prices are falling again this morning, following the losses yesterday on Wall Street in New York. The fear of a longer economic crisis is widespread. Worldwide, more than 3,200 people have died as a result of coronavirus-related lung disease.
The price of the CBoT wheat futures already fell by 2% this week.
