35% more corn in South Africa

According to estimates by the local government's harvest estimates, South Africa will harvest 35% more corn in 2020 than in the previous year.
It was the third crop estimate by professionals. According to this, 15.221 million tons of corn will be harvested this year, after 11.275 million tons in the previous year as drought, the yields were reduced.
White corn for human consumption is estimated at 8.779 million tons, yellow corn used as animal feed would also come to 6.442 million tons.
