38% more corn in South Africa

South Africa will probably harvest 38% more corn this year than last year. Good weather conditions allowed higher yields.
The government statistics agency in Johannesburg released its fourth crop estimate for corn yesterday. According to this, 15.589 million tons of corn should come together; in the previous year it was 11.275 million tons.
This estimate is 2% higher than the previous one.
