Algeria's state-owned grain agency OAIC has purchased 420,000 tonnes of wheat of optional origin for delivery in July as part of an international tender process. This is reported by European dealers. Thus, a price between $ 224-225 / ton c & f paid. The wheat, which probably originated from France, was sold by a total of five trading companies.
The amount was written off (nominal) 50,000 tons, but Algeria usually buys much larger quantities. In principle, no results of the tenders are published. These are estimates by market experts.
