Algeria buys 510,000 tons of milling wheat

Algeria's state grain buyer OAIC yesterday bought 510,000 tons of milling wheat in an international tender.
An initial press release said vendors are getting $ 263.5 / tonne c&f. More details will be released later today.
Six internationally active trading houses are said to have been taken into account. The prices were almost identical for all providers. It is not stated from which countries the traders want to purchase the wheat.
This tender enables wheat deliveries from the Black Sea region for the first time.
The deliveries are to be made in two stages: From 1.-15. November and from 16.-30. November. If wheat is to be delivered from South America, then only in the period from November 16 to 31, 2020.
