Algeria buys at least 390,000 tons of wheat

Algeria's state-owned grain agency OAIC has purchased at least 390,000 tons of wheat of optional origin at prices ranging from $ 209.25 to $ 213 / tonne c & f as part of an international tender process. Traders reported strong competition between France and Argentina. However, wheat from South America was excluded in the tender. The load of the goods is scheduled for February and delivery is scheduled for March. Quantities and prices are estimates by market participants. Algeria's OAIC does not publish results of its tenders.
