Algeria buys at least 400,000 tons of wheat

Algeria's State grain agency OAIC buys at least 400,000 tons of optional origin for the supply of wheat under an international tender procedure in January. The price of this is c & f estimates between $201 and $201,50 per tonne.
OAIC published basically no results from its tenders, all figures are estimates by operators.
The wheat originates probably from the United States, Germany and the Baltic States. Wheat from Argentina was not competitive in relation to the price though, with regard to the quality requirements however.
