Allendale predicted bigger U.S. soybean and corn acreage

A survey of the Illinoise-based brokerage company Allendale U.S. farmers this year a larger acreage with soybeans and corn ordered, as was predicted by the USDA in the quarterly report by March 31. Therefore, corn were sown this spring on 91,742 million acres and soybean on 85,105 million acres in 26 U.S. States. In the USDA quarterly report the forecast was the corn 89,199 million acres, and the soybeans at 84,635 million acres. Allendale estimated the total wheat acreage in the United States at 55,523 million acres (40,623 million acres winter wheat, 13,108 million acres of spring wheat and 1,792 million acres of durum wheat.) Next Tuesday, the USDA published its updated forecast of U.S. crops.
