Argentina could grow 30% more wheat

Weeks before the sowing date different associations and professionals in Argentina the local land use discuss this year. The general tenor is that the wheat production is increasing in the South American country by around 30%.
Argentina is the world's 10th largest wheat exporter and has exported 3.13 million tons of wheat in the first three month of this year. There were only 1.53 million tons in the same period of the previous year. When in December 2015, the economically liberal Mauricio Macri took over the Office of President of the Republic, he abolished all export restrictions on wheat and corn and so went dormant in warehouses stocks of from previous years in large quantities on the already over powered the world market. The prices dropped strongly affiliated.
Now the wheat areas in Argentina will be expanded to 4.7 million hectares, where 14 million tons can be produced then, so the estimate of economists. 8.5 million tonnes of which are likely to go in the export, the USDA estimates.
