Argentina's agro-industrial exports are projected to hit $ 37.49 billion next year, up $ 1.52 billion from November's estimate, the Rosario Grain Exchange said in a report yesterday.
The price increases forecast for products such as soybean meal, cattle feed, wheat and corn for 2022 should offset an expected decline in the price of sunflower and soybean oil, it says.
"An increase in the estimate of the volume of exported wheat in view of the expected higher production also helps explain the improvement in the export value forecast," it said.
The South American country, home to the famous fertile pampas farm belt, is expected to sell $ 9.53 billion in corn, $ 9.37 billion in soybean meal and $ 6.39 billion worth of goods over the next year. Export dollars in soybean oil.
The Buenos Aires Grain Exchange expects record corn and wheat harvests of 57 million and 21 million tons, respectively. For soybeans, the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange expects a production of 44 million tons.
