According to rumors, there will be an increase in export taxes in Argentina. In addition, export sales of soybean meal and soybean oil have been halted for the time being. Exact reasons have not yet been given. Market observers blame, among other things, the sharp rise in prices for oilseeds, which rose again in the wake of the war in Ukraine. The country is one of the largest exporters of meal and oil. Around 34.4 million tons were exported in the past financial year.
