The Argentine Ministry of Agriculture now estimates this year's soybean harvest in the country at just 37.6 million tonnes because it was extremely dry for a long time. Last year 55 million tons were harvested there.
The maize harvest there is estimated at 42 million tons, compared to 49.5 million tons harvested in the previous year.
