The German slaughter pig market is somewhat friendlier this week. The quantities available are easier to market than in the previous weeks. However, slaughter capacities are still limited. Sales problems are also reported from some regions. Any overhangs have not yet been completely removed. In advance, a large slaughter company already signaled that it would support a price increase. Meat marketing is going much more smoothly this week, because the demand from gastronomy is picking up again and grilled meat is in high demand. In the coming weeks, market participants are hoping for brisker business again and also for the chance to get firmer prices.
