Best starting conditions for summer seeds in India

Generous monsoon rains favored sowing conditions in India. Field orders on Friday were 21.2% further than on this date in the previous year. The vegetation conditions on the entire Indian subcontinent were good to very good.
Typically, farmers in India sow their summers after June 1st, when the monsoon season begins there. Sowing is then completed there in late July or early August.
Summer fruits in India include rice, cotton, oilseeds and sugar cane.
The Indian acreage for oilseeds was increased this year by 15% to 15.5 million hectares. India is the largest importer of vegetable oils in the world.
Since June 1, India has had 10% more rainfall than the average of previous years. The water reserves are significantly larger this year.
