Brazil: Paraná expects more soya bean and maize harvest

Brazil's soybean harvest 2016/17 in the State of Paraná reached a volume of 18,28 million tonnes versus 16.51 million tons according to first estimates by 2015/16. This reports the State Agency Deral (Departamento de Economia rural).
The first corn harvest in 2016/17 (summer crop) is appreciated by Deral to 4.24 million tonnes versus 3.3 million tonnes by 2015/16.
The State of Paraná is located in the South of Brazil and is considered the most important agricultural producer of the country.
