Brazil Conab has again by 2015/16 the maize harvest forecast reduced. The entire corn harvest is currently estimated at 66,98 million tons. The forecast was still 68,48 million tons in August. In the twelfth and thus final harvest estimate Conab counts with a winter maize crop in a volume of 41,13 million tonnes (August: 42,59 million tonnes). Corn exports are estimated in this season to 20 million tonnes versus 30.2 million tons in the previous year.
The soybean harvest Conab estimates at 95,43 million tonnes (previous month: 95,42 million tonnes). 54.1 million tonnes of soybeans available are for export. Thus, Brazil will claim its position as the world's largest Sojabohnenexporteuer.
The wheat crop is estimated at 6.16 million tons from Conab versus 6.20 million tonnes in the previous month.
