Brazil's soybean harvest is 10 million tons larger than last year

Brazil's soybean production in 2019/20 will set a new record with 125.6 million tons, the consulting firm AgRural announced yesterday. A fifth of the acreage has now been harvested.
The previous estimate was 123.9 million tons.
If the latest estimate is confirmed, the harvest would be at least 10 million tons larger than in the previous year. Brazil is already the largest soybean producer in the world and the largest exporter of oilseeds.
