Brazil's soybean production could grow by up to 5%

The Brazilian soybean area for crop 2018/19 could grow by 3 to 5%. To what extent depends on how the trade dispute between China and the US continues to develop.
Although soybean futures prices on the CBoT have dropped to a 10-year low, premiums are being paid to Brazilian farmers to compensate for the price erosion. This allows them to calculate well and successfully cultivate the cultivation of soybeans.
If this estimate proves true, then the cultivation range increases from the current 35.15 million hectares to 37 million hectares.
The acreage for summer corn, which is competing for soybeans around the arable land, is likely to be smaller.
