The 2017/18 soybean harvest estimate in Argentina was again reduced by the Buenos Aires Grains Exchange. Only a volume of 36 million tonnes is expected after previously 38 million tonnes. The stocks initially suffered from too dry conditions. Heavy precipitation hit in April, leading to further damage and erosion of crop activities.
