The current maize supply is very limited, especially in the south of the country. As soon as free lots are on the market, they are traded quickly. The price structure has been stable to date, although regional prices have had to ease slightly. In addition, cheap offers from France should complement the domestic offer. Lots from the Ukraine are also traded again and again. Overall, however, the cash market remains calm. Many processing companies are supplied until the end of the year and are waiting for the current price development for new contracts. The prices for wheat and barley were slightly weaker with the falling prices on the Matif/Euronext. By the end of the year, market participants do not expect any more significant changes in the market.
