The Chicago Soybeans gave up yesterday and are now trading at their lowest level in eleven weeks. In Argentina's Grain Belt, it had rained on the weekend, thus ending the weeks of drought.
Now farmers can continue their field work there and sow soybeans in good time without significant loss of yield.
At the same time, buyers in China and elsewhere are turning their attention to the upcoming 2018 harvest in Brazil. The window for US exporters is getting smaller.
