CBoT wheat continues at 6-year high

Wheat futures continues to trade at its six-year high on the CBoT this morning because large manufacturing areas in the northern hemisphere are too dry.
Traders in Singapore expect prices to continue rising should southern Russia remain dry. In the US Plains and Ukraine, too, it is too dry for wheat crops to develop well. At the weekend it had rained in parts of the Russian wheat cultivation, but that was not enough, according to the consultancy ICAR.
Commodity funds supported CBoT agricultural futures prices yesterday.
