The USDA said yesterday evening that only 32% of US winter wheat stocks are in good to very good condition. A year ago, these were 51%. In particular, one is concerned about the condition of the hard red winter wheat.
The agricultural sector in the US fears the escalating trade war between the US and China. Investors are watching exactly which agricultural products are being punished by China. It also affects pigs and ethanol.
