CBoT Wheat: Fifth session in a row with markups

Chicago wheat futures are trading at premium for the fifth consecutive year this morning. Dry weather in important exporting countries gives the prices a boost. However, analysts expect the good supply situation to limit the price increase.
The drought has raised concerns among traders about the prospects for wheat growing in the U.S. Plains and Black Sea regions and for growing soybeans in Brazil. US agricultural exports to China hit $ 2.15 billion in August, the highest ever, led by strong soybean exports. Institutional investors bought 12,000 contracts of CBoT SRW wheat yesterday.
