CBoT wheat rates are down almost 1%

Chicago wheat futures are down nearly 1% this morning, their lowest level in two weeks. As more rain is predicted in the US plains and other growing regions of the world, fear of supply shortages for wheat is decreasing.
Traders in Far East Asia comment on the price decline. They informed their customers this morning that the rainfalls announced should be enough to give winter wheat in the northern hemisphere proper starting conditions.
Russian market analysts have now also confirmed this.
Market participants expect China to continue buying more US agricultural commodities. In China, there are still fears of supply bottlenecks in feed raw materials and basic foodstuffs.
