Wheat The export demand for European wheat appears to be unbroken. By March 1, wheat exports from Europe totaled 19.11 million tons for the current marketing year. In addition there are 4.79 million tons of barley . The negative developments on the commodity futures exchanges in Paris and Chicago also have an impact on the cash market in Germany . Farmers are apparently no longer particularly willing to pay due to the recent price corrections. However, feed manufacturers in particular are currently showing little on the market. Many mills are also well supplied. B wheat prices in Hamburg or the Lower Rhine are falling. The wholesale price for feed wheat in Südoldenburg is stated at 189.00 euros / t. Forage maize (also quoted franko Südoldenburg) is also lower at EUR 186.00 and is moving away from its price high on January 15th. at 196.00 euros / t.Remained stable shows feed barley / t recorded from station East Germany with 149 euros. Oilseeds There is hardly any demand on the spot markets , especially for the 2019 harvest, and most of it has already been sold. Pre-contracts for the upcoming harvest are offered here and there, but since the news known so far for the upcoming rapeseed harvest is still very vague, there are few deals. Many market participants are holding back. Followed by good developments on the financial markets, the crude oil markets are recovering yesterday and are also acting more firmly this morning.
